Eleanor Oliphant is more than completely fine she is fabulous. This book is happy and sad and funny, sometimes all at the same time. Sometimes bad things happen to good people and Eleanor has been coping aided by large quanties of vodka. She dreads her mothers weekly calls but can't stop them. Stopping to help an old man who has fallen down is the start of finding friends and the courage to say goodbye to Mummy for good.
