Book Club today!

Every Thursday Book Club convenes and we discuss what we're reading and discuss our books...

Zena is reading a book about Malala Yousafzai because she like books about real people and people's experience.

Bethel is reading The Resistance, the sequel to The Declaration. "The first one was so interesting and I wanted to see what was going to happen. I just like dystopia books"

Sophie is reading I'll give you the Sun, as well as multiple other books. "Very adorable and in a sense I like how it's being told. It's kind of confusing. There's one story, but The first half is told by one and the end is told by the other. There are lapses in time and it's all over."

Marama is between books because she can't find Temeraire by Naomi Novick which she borrowed last time!

Taha is reading a book about a haunted house. "It's interesting, and there's a witch that puts a curse on them and they end up in a book."

Esther has just finished a book in the holidays about Rosa Parks.

Asmeret is reading One of Us is Lying, which Sophie has also been meaning to read.

Arna is reading Why Don't Students Like School by Daniel Willingham.

Bryon is reading Lord of the Rings The Two Towers.

Sophia has just finished reading Beneath The Water, a thriller about a married couple who go to BoraBora. They find a plane under the water during diving, and they take some of the treasure and things and it all goes wrong.

We have a whole bunch of books by A.S. which we purchased at the Writer's Festival. This coming week we will all be reading a book by her.
